About The Event:
Discover the calming, grounding joy of creating with your hands in our dedicated Handbuilding Pottery Course at Claysutra Pottery Studio & Café, Gachibowli. Designed for beginners and hobbyists alike, this immersive 10-session program invites you to slow down, explore your creativity, and experience the meditative nature of working with clay.
Over the course of ten Sundays, you will learn the essential handbuilding techniques that form the foundation of functional and sculptural pottery. From pinch pots and coil building to slab work and texturing, each session is structured to gradually develop your skills, confidence, and artistic expression. Guided by experienced instructors, you will not only understand the craft but also discover your own style as you shape, refine, and assemble your creations.
Participants will work with high-quality stoneware clay and have full access to studio tools throughout the course. You will create multiple pieces during the program, and four of your works will be bisque-fired and glazed, allowing you to take home durable, functional ceramic art made entirely by you. Whether you aspire to craft elegant tableware, decorative pieces, or expressive sculptural forms, this course provides you the space, resources, and community to bring your ideas to life.
No prior experience is required—just curiosity, creativity, and the willingness to get your hands a little muddy. Join us for a beautifully paced, hands-on learning journey that blends technique, mindfulness, and artistic exploration in a warm studio environment. With limited slots available, this is the perfect opportunity to begin or deepen your pottery journey at Claysutra. What to Expect:
